Friday, October 25, 7:30PM “Jordan Freeman: The Fight to Set a People Free”

Kevin Johnson will portray Jordan Freeman, an African-American servant of John Ledyard and the body servant of Colonel William Ledyard in the Revolutionary War. Kevin’s presentation is based on extensive research in the the collections of the Connecticut State Library and the Museum of Connecticut History in Hartford.

Kevin is an employee of the State Library’s History and Genealogy Unit. He has been portraying Jordan Freeman for 13 years to high acclaim. Anyone who has witnessed his dramatic performance knows that this will be a program that you don’t want to miss. Addmission is free and open to the general public.

The program will be held in the Buchanan Auditorium at the the Mansfield Public Library, 54 Warrenville Road, Mansfield Center.
