The Mansfield Historical Society exists and operates it’s programs and exhibits through the selfless dedication of it’s members and community volunteers. Without their time and effort we would not be able to stay a vital part of the social fabric that makes Mansfield, Connecticut such a great place to live and work.
If you would like to volunteer your time or expertise to help MHS thrive please consider the following opportunities below.
Volunteers needed for:
- Museum Hosts/Hostesses- Summer 2021, Saturdays and Sundays from June through September 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Click here to find out more about the tasks and to use our online sign up for afternoons of your choice.
Committee Chairs Needed:
We currently have vacant positions available for the following Committee Chairs.
- Collection Management
Opportunities for Local Students:
E.O. Smith High School Seniors: We gladly accept students needing to complete community service assignments.
UCONN Students: We currently have a posting in the History Department for an internship at the Mansfield Historical Society. Also check the schools community service project list for requests from the Society.
