Join us for our 4th and final program, marking the 250th anniversary of our 2026 season. Tom Hogan takes guests to December 24, 1776. The British Army released 224 American prisoners of war and put them aboard a transport ship in New York City. The plan was for the ship to bring its forlorn passengers to Milford, where they would be put ashore. Many of the men were from Connecticut, and most were in poor health. Their journey home would be hard.
