The Mansfield Historical Society is a 501c3 non-profit and depends on the generosity and dedication of its members and volunteers. Membership is open to the general public and we welcome any that would like to be a part of our mission. Dues are renewed once a year during our annual membership drive.
Dues for membership the Mansfield Historical Society contribute to our annual operating budget. Your contribution supports our ongoing efforts to make our library and collection available to the public for continued research about the town’s history, the production of exhibits shown in the old town hall, and the development of programs presented by historians from all over the state of Connecticut. Members receive our annual newsletters, free admission to our many programs, museum entry at no charge, and free of charge access to our library and collection.
As a member, there are no requirements to volunteer, but we certainly encourage any time you may be able to give the society. There are many ways to volunteer and we encourage all that would like to contribute their time and expertise to support our mission.
